Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using AllaMusic ("we", "our", "the app"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Description of Service

AllaMusic is a music learning application offering lessons, challenges, and a community around learning to play songs. The core app is free to use, with optional paid subscriptions that unlock premium content and features.

Accounts

You need an account to save your progress and access certain features. Accounts are created with an email address and password, or with Google Sign-In. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

• You must provide accurate account information.
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for any activity that happens under your account.

Free Plan and Subscriptions

AllaMusic offers a free tier with core features, and optional premium subscriptions that unlock additional lessons, challenges, or community features.

Subscriptions are billed through Apple, Google, or our web payment provider, depending on how you signed up. Prices, billing periods, and included features are shown at the time of purchase.

• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period.
• Cancel anytime from your device's app store account settings, or from your account settings on the web.
• Refunds are handled according to the policy of the store you purchased through (Apple App Store, Google Play, or our web checkout).
• We may change subscription pricing or included features going forward; existing subscribers will be notified of material changes.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use AllaMusic only for lawful purposes and in a way that doesn't infringe on the rights of others or restrict their use of the app.

• Do not upload content that is illegal, abusive, or infringes on someone else's rights.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, hack, or reverse-engineer the app.
• Do not use automated tools to scrape or extract content from the app.
• Do not impersonate another person in community features.

Data and Advertising

We do not share your personal data with other companies for their own purposes, and we do not sell your data. AllaMusic does not show ads or use an advertising ID to track you. See our Privacy Policy for full details on what we collect and how it's used and protected.

We respect the data protection laws that apply where you live, including the GDPR in the European Economic Area and the UK, and comparable laws elsewhere. We honor rights such as access, correction, export, and deletion of your personal data for all users, regardless of location.

Content and Intellectual Property

All lessons, challenges, graphics, and other app content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may use them only for your personal, non-commercial learning.

If you post content in community features (comments, posts, profile info), you keep ownership of it, but you grant us a license to display it within the app as part of that feature.

Third-Party Content

Some pages and lessons may embed third-party content such as YouTube videos. That content is owned by its respective creators and subject to their own terms.

Photo Credits

Group cover photos offered in the app come from Wikimedia Commons and are used under their free licenses (CC0, Public Domain, CC-BY, or CC-BY-SA). Each photo remains the property of its author and is subject to its own license. Authors, licenses, and source links are listed on our Photo Credits page.

Disclaimer of Warranties

AllaMusic is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your specific learning goals.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Termination

You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

We may update these Terms as the app evolves. Continued use of the app after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
