Introduction

AllaMusic ("we", "our", "the app") is a music learning application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have — for both our free features and our optional paid subscriptions.

Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information, consistent with our Google Play Data Safety disclosure:

• Personal info: your name, email address, and other account details you provide (e.g. profile info), via Firebase Authentication (email/password or Google Sign-In).
• Learning data: lessons completed, challenge scores, practice streaks, and song progress.
• Content you create: profile info, community posts, comments, and wall posts, if you use community features.
• Subscription and billing status (active plan, renewal date) — payment card details are handled by Apple, Google, or our payment provider and are never stored on our servers.
• Approximate location: derived from your IP address via our analytics provider (Firebase Analytics) — not precise GPS location — used to understand where our users are and improve the app.
• Device or other IDs: an analytics/installation identifier automatically assigned by Firebase Analytics, used for app functionality and to distinguish devices for analytics purposes.
• App performance data: crash logs, diagnostics, and other performance data, collected automatically to help us find and fix bugs and keep the app stable.

Free Plan and Subscriptions

AllaMusic is free to use, with optional premium subscriptions that unlock additional content and features. Subscription purchases are processed by Apple, Google, or our web payment provider — we do not receive or store your full payment card details.

We only receive confirmation of your subscription status (active, expired, cancelled) so we can grant or remove access to premium features.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information only to operate and improve the app.

• To create and secure your account.
• To save and sync your learning progress across devices.
• To manage your subscription and premium access.
• To respond to support requests sent through our Contact form or to 96.elmehdi@gmail.com.
• To diagnose crashes, monitor performance, and improve the app based on aggregated, non-identifying usage trends.

Advertising

AllaMusic does not show ads and does not use an advertising ID to track you across apps or websites.

How We Protect Your Data

Your data is transmitted using encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and stored securely with Firebase (Google Cloud), which encrypts data at rest.

Access to your account data is restricted to what the app needs to function, and we do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Sharing of Information

We do not share your personal data with other companies or organizations for their own marketing or business purposes, and we do not sell your data.

We work with service providers who process data only on our behalf, strictly to help us run the app: Firebase/Google Cloud (authentication, storage, analytics) and payment processors (Apple, Google, or our web checkout) for subscriptions. These providers do not use your data for their own purposes.

Your Choices and Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the UK, or another jurisdiction with similar data protection laws, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to access, correct, export, or erase your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. We honor these rights for all users, regardless of location.

You can request deletion of your entire account and its data, or ask us to delete specific data (such as your activity history or content you've posted) without deleting your whole account. Visit our Delete Account page or use our Contact form to make either request — see the Delete Account page for exact steps, what gets deleted, and what may be retained for legal reasons.

You can also cancel your subscription at any time from your device's app store or account settings — this stops future billing but does not automatically delete your account data.

Children's Privacy

AllaMusic is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
